UCY Hosts Misha Kellner-Rogers
6-Week Yoga Series
Cultivate the power of your body and the freedom of your mind through strengthening and aligning your foundation: Your Body. In this six week series we will skillfully locate and create physical alignment to nourish the health of the body.
This class is for anyone wanting supportive alignment, willing to connect to their body with patience and compassion, for beginners and practiced yogis. This class is great for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Through thoughtful sequencing, let the depths of your body feel supported by defining and grounding into your foundation, and understanding the fundamentals of postures.
From a place of security and connection, we can explore new places in postures; resting into freedom and opening to expansion. Come to practice and flow into your foundation as you experience the power of your own anatomy.
About Misha
Misha approaches yoga from a heart centered place and truly believes that yoga is for everyone. Yoga is a mind-state, a choice and a practice that is guided by the wisdom of the body, the breath and the heart.
She comes from a diverse background in movement and meditation, from the free flowing, move your body to create new shapes, to the very precise alignment principles offered through Yoga, specifically the anusara method. Misha is a RYT through Yoga Alliance, having studied, worked and certified at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
Misha is grateful for her may teachers, injury being one of them, who inspire her practice and teaching.
