Hi, I am interesting in the yoga classes. But do we need to bring our own yoga mat?
We Have Mats!! We have all the props here you will need for a well-rounded practice: Manduka Black Mats, bolsters, blankets, belts and tennis balls.
I’m interested in taking classes, but I have always wondered, what’s the recommended attire for men?
Hi David,
Your attire should be flexible, so you can comfortably split your legs forward, back and side to side without any binding. In the beginning, you might find that you sweat during your practice, and therefore, long sleeves or pants made from a wicking material are ideal….shorts and tanktops mean you’ll end up with a soggy mat that increases the likelihood of slipping. I also recommend that your clothing not be too baggy. Teachers need to be able to see the alignment of your spine and hips, and any time you turn upside down a baggy shirt will fall into your face. Your clothing doesn’t need to be super-clingy, just not so baggy as to become cumbersome.
