Our Mission
This studio is a manifestation of the Community of yoga teachers who approach the practice of Yoga as Study. We believe in teaching the 8 Limbs of yoga from a place of Moderation and work toward Balance, avoiding the Extremes to invite growth as a life-long process and practice.
This studio is supported by a group of teachers who support each other. We each have an individual vision, but together can offer our students a more diverse, complete and insightful practice. We see each other as teammates, cooperative members of a community who cultivate synergy and dispel competition. Together, we embrace a world of abundance and reject the idea of scarcity.
Our community wishes to bring Yoga to the masses. We know that each student must hear different voices in order to grow, in order to find their own path within. We encourage that journey and find joy in the clarity, growth and evolution of each student on that winding path. We do not grasp at our students, but view their journey as a small part of our own, and get out of their way when they are ready to move forth on their own.
We are Teachers, we are Mentors….for each other and the World.

- We make every effort to start each class promptly. Please arrive early to set up your space, change clothes etc.
- For security purposes, we lock our lobby door at the start of each class. Typically, once it is locked it will not be reopened until classes has finished. We apologize for any inconvenience this creates.
- Please practice Saucha while in the studio. This is the first Niyama (the second limb of Hatha Yoga), and is translated as “purity”. With respect to our environment, order and cleanliness lead to order within our minds and bodies. Please pay attention to the neatness of the space before, during and after practice. Saucha is respect for the space, the practice, the students, and the teacher. Specifically: Leave wet umbrellas/shoes on the towels provided at the entrance; stagger yoga mats and align their edges as neatly as possible; wipe down mats if you sweat profusely; fold and stack blankets NEATLY; roll mats with the dots on the inside so they unroll without the ends flipping up; wipe down the bathroom sink in case of excessive splashing; if you borrow a cup, wash it and leave it upside down to dry.
